The Impossible Quiz is a trick-question game with 110 challenges that must be completed in one continuous run. Most screens look like ordinary multiple-choice questions, but the correct solution often depends on wordplay, visual tricks, hidden clickable areas, unusual interpretations, or actions that are not listed among the visible answers. There is no story campaign or character progression. The objective is simply to reach Question 110 without losing all three lives.
Questions and Trick Solutions
Many questions deliberately make the obvious answer incorrect. Some require the player to click part of the question itself, move the mouse through a maze, type words using an on-screen keyboard, wait without clicking, or interact with objects that do not initially look important. The game also contains short minigames and reaction-based tasks, so progression is not limited to choosing one of four answers.
Lives, Bombs, and Skips
The main rules include:
· starting the quiz with three lives;
· losing one life after most incorrect answers;
· receiving an immediate Game Over if all lives are lost;
· completing timed bomb questions before the countdown reaches zero;
· collecting seven Skips during the run;
· avoiding unnecessary use of Skips;
· completing all 110 questions without checkpoints in the original version.
Bomb questions are more restrictive than normal mistakes because failing the timer can immediately end the entire attempt. Their time limits vary, with some giving only a few seconds to understand the trick and perform the required action. Skips initially appear to let the player bypass difficult questions, but they have another purpose that becomes important at the end.
Reaching Question 110
The final section, known as the Epic 10, covers Questions 101 through 110 and includes typing tasks, mouse challenges, fake Game Over screens, timed sequences, and other unusual interactions. Question 110 reveals why the collected Skips matter: the player must use all seven of them before a ten-second bomb explodes. If even one Skip was used earlier or missed during the game, the final question cannot be completed.
To play The Impossible Quiz, the player mainly uses the mouse, reads every question carefully, and avoids assuming that normal quiz logic applies. Trial and error is part of the progression because many solutions only become clear after a failed attempt. Completing the game requires remembering earlier answers, reacting quickly during timed sections, preserving all seven Skips, and successfully passing every challenge leading to Question 110.
